Hi

I am new to this forum

i have fitted many diffrent amps to all diffrent types of cars in the past,

my question is how the hell do i run the power cable from the battery in to the car, there are no obvious grommets to move,

reading on the net i get mixed answers, some say there is a grommet,, others say just drill and seal,

i bought this little 306 just because i have never owned one before, and it was a cheep little run around

its a 1998 td

any help would be great

Is it a 6? if so there is a huge grommet in the pass side footwell to allow the air con pipes thru the bulkhead. I used this, it's a bugger to get to but perfectly placed for a route to the battery.

I've got a 1.4 95 Sad lol but I drilled through under the glove box and sealed it. Works fine and no water leaks.

have a look at this

the bloke said to drill a hole in the red circle..

but the drain plug to the left leads straight in to the car

why not just put a hole in that and feed the wire through it?

has anyone tried doing it this way?
