make sure what ever s16 cams you get they dont require machine work.

when i was looking around i found a few that required the cam carriers to be line bored so they fit!!
this is a head off job!!

lol. Itd cost a lot more for a "stage 3" head as you call it. IIRC mark shillabers heads start at around £600 and thats just very simple head work.

aa yes performance heads, the company ive never heard of before lol must be good.

All the Stage 'X' is ******, The spec of the head is the most important.
As said the std head is fine and most people make things worse than better, I'd only trust 2 people in the UK for headwork and the name doesn;t appear hear.
Cam's you can go quite wild on these in std form, You don;t need line boring only if you use different cap's
I will be offering a manifold very soon for these, I;ve got the base pattern just need a car to test it on.

depends how much has been take off, you'd need to ask QEP, they can advise on the cams too as they are or were a catcams agent.

QEP don;t exist anymore, Matt is still around at Cat Cam's (Same address I think) so would be best to advise on what will fit due to the block decking, Not worth guessing otherwise or you can do a dry build but thats not cheap if you;ve got to trial fit cam's
