Hi people I have a 306 xsi 16v and I'm wanting to fit a gti6 lump. I will use the 5speed box just wanted some info on wiring ect if any one could help the xsi has air con cause been told that make it easyer any more info would be greatfull

Hi, i did a conversion the same as this.... IT is a straight swap as far as wiring is concerned and same goes with the Gearbox.
The 5 speed was quick enough, just make sure you get a decent engine.

cool i was just un sure on the wiring ect. but now i dont no if to fit a 2ltr turbo engine but i gess the wiring would be a little diffrenet

im doing the turbo conversion mate,
again the engine bolts straight in as its an XU block, only slight mod is the bottom engine mount needs extending about 25mm so the turbo clears the bulkhead.

but a loom would need making by splicing your original loom to the 406 loom
