i had on of mine bored and polished,it did seem to increase throttle response and induction noise but definatly not 8-15 bhp increase |

All it will do is alter the throttle curve. The standard profile of the throttle body is designed to restrict the airflow on low throttle positions to make low RPM engine control easier.________________________________________ Rich |

simple swap mate ive got one on mine, i got it cheap, cant say there much difference with bhp, but has made the induction noise a little louder and the revs seem to be a tiny bit quicker, but thats it ________________________________________ Black Ph1 XSi-6161.8BHP (Getting Better!!!!) |

lookimg at the pic of the one on the bay i think he may have bored through the body and repaired it?The butterfly is offset and if you put a straight bore through it will bore out the side. But the guy that did mine charged me 20 quid to bore mine then i jus polished it |
