Also, are there any guides on taking the wiring out? Like the central locking and alarm wiring, as these are both some hefty bunches of wries.

It's not as hard as you think, just start off by removing the dash as this will give you full access to the loom. Then start with the wires from one door, trace them back to their source & cut them out, take your time! You will end up removing all central locking, elec window & stereo wires. The internal lights, glovebox light & central dash lights can go too. I removed my heater so all the wires for that went too. I got carried away & took the brakelight circuit out I'll have to put that back in at some point....The seat belt pretentioners & airbags can go too! You will be amazed how much weight you'll save. I got stuck into the dash too & cut a massive amount of surplus plastic away whilst still maintaining a STD external look. Good luck just take care ________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |

I would take the dash out, but due to the roll cage thats already in the car, i cant. There's no wiring in the doors. there's nothing in the doors, i bought the car quite track prepped. the only thing inside the car, is the dash, a cage, 2 buckets and harness's.just wanted to tidy up the looks of it inside. ________________________________________ Astra 888 CDTi |
