OK am i right in thinking that the pressure regulator on the XU10 engine runes at 3.5bar? and that this can be preplaced with a 4.5 bar regulator for a VAG car? If so does any one know what model VAG its from?

Cheers

Supposed to give more pressure behind the injector giving a good mist when the injector is opened

Yeah I know. Just depends how much more air your adding Happy

I was going to fit Jenvey throttle bodies to mine, and told the standard FPR would be fine.

I'm fitting my 'yanni style' r1 throttle body setup soon and I've been considering getting an adjustable one myself. Dont know if it's possible but I was hoping that with trial and error I should be about to find a good setup and avoid the remapping for now.

Does anyone know whether the adjustable ones ob eBay are worth a crack? At 35 quid I'm a little wary :-s

Buy a better quality one, if it runs lean it's bye bye engine.

not really necessary when the pattern from the standard injectors is very good, and don't run anywhere near their limits at 3 bar.

raise the pressure and you'll shorten their lives and efficiency.

you wont get an engine to run well on t/b's without a remap.

Don't say thaaaat! I've brought everything needed anyway so even if I fail I cant be put back to standard immidiatly, it should work, apart from giving the engine more air than normal it won't change it.
