I know that this is a vague question but if you install R1 throttle bodies on a standard 6 running the standard ECU - with there be any performance benefits?

It won't without a remap (£400) from Chip Wizzards, and you will need to make up a decent manifold and throttle linkage. If you do it well 10-20 hp is on the cards. There is potential for going backwards or having running issues if it's botched though.

By the way I'm selling these if you're interested?

I'll post up some recent pics tomorrow but my Jenveys are up for sale.

What you get

2x DCOE 45 Bodies (Black)
4x 90mm Trumpets (Ally)
1x Pipercross Dome filter
1x Pipercross Backplate with nice welded on bracket for IAC sensor.
1x Custom air inlet heatshield
1x Fuel rail (Jenvey ally item) with 8mm male hose tails.

I'm upgrading to 48<51mm taper bodies with 8 injectors and a custom airbox so I'll be keeping the sensors, TPS, linkage kit and OMEX ECU and loom. The inlet has also already been sold.

They are about a year and a half old, and as most of you know I blew my car up in September of last year so they have'nt exactly seen a lot of action Wink

I'll be bunging these on Pistonheads and Egay but I thought I'd give them a week or two on here first.

Looking for £595.00 or a near offer.

Some pics when of when it was in the car...
