I'm going to track my rallye and plan to drop it by 30mm at the front and aim to match at the rear, does anyone know how many notches i'll need to drop it down by? Is it possible to match it perfectly? How mamy mm per notch? I've searched the treads by can't seem to find what i'm looking for! |

AFAIK the "notch" method is a fairly crude and lazy way of lowering the rear. You need to do it by accurately measuring certain distances, I have no idea what they are, but I'm sure someone will come along and explain it properly. |

dont do it the notch way, spline method is easier and the correct way of doing it, first time took about 4 hours as it was seized. second time about 40mins because it was all greased up________________________________________ if i dont see you in the mattress il see you in the spring |

anthony does beams and lives in swindon.as mentioned, the "notch" method is rather inaccurate, I don't know what drop you get by leaving one end fixed and simply moving it till it goes back in, but the last one I saw done that was was on the cock at the back when I do it by setting the damper bolt distance they're within a few mm at most. if you fit eibachs at the front I'd drop the rear by about 25mm, which is 322mm damper bolt distance (standard is 330mm) ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
