It could be any one of 50 things tbh, you'll need to get the fault codes read. There are plenty of people on 306.net who can do it. I'd offer to help but you're about 400 miles from me. If it's cutting out under load i'd suspect a lazy in tank lift pump but codes will return fuel pressure problems. If it is the in tank pump, take it out and see if the filter sock is clean before getting a new one - you can get to it under the rear bench. ________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

I'd bet on it being the high pressure pump or the high pressure pump regulator. Happened to me a number of times with my HDi. If it's the regulator, I'd replace it with a brand new one. I bought a second hand pump with the regulator from a scrapper and the problem re occurred. Try not to run the diesel too low into the reserve as this is what usually causes te problem. ________________________________________ '01 Astor Grey GTi6'99 Cherry Rallye |
