Nothing comes up on search, so I really could do with someone confirming before I waste a load of money.
Cheers people.

Sorry for the lame post but can someone confirm me the part number for the RC6's for the 406 Brembos? I *think* it's 4022, but I've just got the calipers from Lotek and they don't have any pads, so I don't even have a shape to verify it against. Nothing comes up on search, so I really could do with someone confirming before I waste a load of money. Cheers people. I am pretty sure 4022 is correct. I was pricing CL pads up the other month for the brembo setup and 4022 sounds right. Just ordered a set of RC6 pads myself but for the GTi-6 caliper.________________________________________ 306 2.1 S16 Tarmac Rally CarProject thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=143956 |

looks like the same pads on those cars as the 406 brembos. I take it 4022 is the winning number then.and the RC8 is available in that fitment ________________________________________ 306 2.1 S16 Tarmac Rally CarProject thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=143956 |

Right, 4022 it is then. Ordered.Just had a right faff at GSF trying to get a cheap set of get-me-home pads for them, they seemed genuinely really annoyed that I "only" had a list of ten or so cars that used them, and had to explain four times why I didn't have the number plate of the 406. "Na mate, I'm gonna have to sit there going through all the pads until they fit, it'll take me all day. "Oh wait no, the computer's just given me the EXACT PART NUMBER". Nob. Hopefully they'll be in this afternoon, my Dotz alloys will be laquered today, tyres on Wednesday then hopefully fitting the brakes (with 5mm spacers) on Weds night, ready for Donington Friday. Busy week. Cheers people, I'll tag a reply on here when they arrive to confirm the part number fo sho. Look out for the brake dust on these - it's not just brake dust, it's radioactive alien rust blood and it properly welds itself to your wheels and sides of the car! ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Swampy - they're about £150 + postage, so I think £160 all in from these guysI've been warned about the brake dust, but the car's such a dirty track slag anyway I'm not too fussed. As long as they stop me ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Its not brake dust at all. Its the discs being converted into metal dust/shavings. It rusts if you leave them dirty in the rain.Seriously kill discs these but awesome with the 310mm kit. I mean just incredibly awesome. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

CL apparently are taking about three weeks to make each set of pads at the moment, so I've sacked these off for some YellowStuffs as they're at least in stock. Once I get through those I might try again. Shame... ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
