ok heres the problem.
my rallye decides when it does and doesnt want to start!!!
doesnt matter if cold or just been running.
fuel pump primes every time.
just changed crank sensor.
done ecu reset
turns over and over
some times she'll start first flick of the key others i can be trying for 5 mins before she finally comes to life and then she'll run sweet as a nut.
the last few times its led me to thinking fuel? because she turns and turns then coughs and starts, fuel relay????
the fact she runs fine once she starts rules out sparks and coils right??? please help cheers

Deffo sounds fuel related to me too, have you tried swapping the fuel pump relay yet?

How old is your battery?

check for power at the coil packs and injectors and if you do check for a spark when it doesnt want to fire.

IIRC a dodgy cam position sensor can cause issues like that.

It's the blue electrical sensor on the inlet manifold. Thinking about it, if the fuel pump is priming ok, it's more likely spark related as opposed to fuel.

Cam sensor for me too, top left side of the engine, near the cambelt cover, blue sensor, three pin plug....

Be prepared though, they are about £115 from Pug. Sad

Stan.
