Sometimes on start up, as soon as I turn the ignition key, the pointer of my car’s speedo and rev counter would flick clockwise to roughly 180 km/hr and 6000 rpm (pointers moves too fast, difficult to say exactly where it points to) then swings back to nil. This only happens on some occasion, not all the time. Anyone know why? And what this indicates? Thank you for your reply in advance.

I think it's a sign of a dying battery.
