Well mine was lets say well past its clean by date....after I had removed the grotty thing i found a fair/worring about of oily build up in here  which im guess has been sucked thorugh my filty filter question is... how bad is this? can i clean it with a spray? should i even be worried? cheers for the education in advance ________________________________________ This site is my mechanical bible, Thank-you everyone!! |

It's normal. The oil vapour recirculation system takes vapour from the crankcase to the throttle body to be burnt.(It comes in from the pipe in the left of your picture.) A small amount of vapour will liquefy again as the engine cools. ________________________________________ Rich |
