anyone using 45" tyre on 17's wheel for GTi6?

is that any bad effect?

40" tyre on 17's wheel with hard suspension seems really uncomfortable.

Unsure
Why don't you go back to 15'sDunno
6's are not what you'd call comfortable at the best of times

Cool

45's will rub like mad

keep the 40's and live with it or get 15" or 16" with a higher profile Wink

I was using 40 profile 17s, found it didn't have enough give and spoilt the handling so swapped to 16s with a 45 profile which seems improved.

I have seen 45's on a 6 before but it looked like there was very little clearance. If you have solid beam mounts & roller bearing wishbone bushes & it's not too low you may get away with it.
These French cars do vary, you may be lucky or you could end up with a set of tyres that foul the body all the timeDunno

Cool
