I have some 23mm bars but I'm wondering now if they will be to much for everyday road use and my 82 mile commute. I have -30 Eibech at the front with B6 Bilstien's.
Whats the general view on these?Unsure

They are going to be stiff and rear shocks will need upgrading to cope. From my experience 21mm bars work perfectly with B6 and Eibach springs.

My guide for choosing torsion bars and springs for 306 would be:

Rear bars | Rear stiffer % | Front springs

20mm | 100% | 110lb (i.e. standard)
21mm | 122% | 150-180lb (i.e. Eibach 7011)
23.5mm | 191% | 300-350lb (i.e. 306 BTCC)
25mm | 244% | 450lb
