Hi,

I've recently replaced the top engine mount (with the standard pug part). I was experiencing the common lurching, clunking when backing off, and exhaust rattle. The mount part was totally broken but the chassis was fine (thankfully).

This did not completely fix the lurching and exhaust rattle on back off, so I have decided to replace the other two mounts before chocking out the top mount.

Can anyone confirm what parts I will need? Is it just the two rubber mount parts (one pressed in to housing and one on top of the gearbox)? Is there anything else worth changing at the same time? Do I need a drive shaft seal (obviously some new box oil is required)? Are the any other little bushes or bolts etc. that I might need?

Also I'm gonna try a new garage in Southampton. I am supplying the parts, and have been quoted 3 hrs labour to do the two mounts, including drive shaft removal and the bush pressing. Does that sound reasonable?

Thanks

It will be the one on the back of the engine that is the problem. The gearbox mount does very little so you don't need to change it.

You will need new oil (get the total proper stuff from peugeot or you'll have problems in winter) and you can change the seal if you really want. Not entirely necessary though. Nothing else needed.
