Hi All,

Apologies at it's probably a question that's been asked a million times...but can anyone offer a quick explanation as to why i can still drive with my handbrake on? I pulled away with it on by accident one day and thought "this isn't right"
I can also just apply it whilst driving along and nothing happens...literally. Yet somehow it will still hold the car on a hill (although i always leave it in gear now!! LOL)

I know the '6 handbrake is renowned for being a pile of w*nk but this isn't normal surely?

Thanks,
Jamie.

Mine is simmilar to an extent. Up to about 3 clicks and not much happens, after 3 then it'll bite quite well!

Yours sounds roughly right though, the handbrake on these really isn't very good... LOL
