Hi chaps,

got an intermittant problem on my Ph3. Sometimes when braking (usually just before you come to a halt, not at high speed), I get brake pedal judder similar to the feeling when the ABS activates.

The ABS light isn't coming on and I'm not having to brake particulary hard for this to happen, so its not that I am actually activating the ABS.

Just wondered if anyone can help? Faulty ABS sensors maybe? ABS controller? Dodgy discs? I dunno, any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
Steve.

Its only intermittant mate and definately the same feeling as ABS activation, not a warped disc feeling.

Also, if I had warped discs I'd expect the problem to be more prominent at high speed, but this only happens intermittantly when coming clost to a halt?

Very wierd!

Classic symptoms of reluctor ring failure. It's worth cleaning each of the ABS pickup rings and seeing if it improves, otherwise it's look for the cracked one.
