basicaly the short hose that comes out of the bottom of the thermostat housing split last night, i have fitted it before but it is a nightmare as it is so short and the bolts that come out of the head to hold the housing are really long.
i was wondering that if the bolts that come out of the head can be removed so that i can connect the hose and then fit the bolts with the housing in place (probly won't make sense unless you taken it off before) anyone changed one before and got some tips?

Undo the 13m nuts on the back of the block that hold the metal pipe on, then you can slip the new pipe on and then the metal pipe again.

You can get away with just the one 13mm bolt i bet though.
