Hey,

my names Duane and im pretty new to this forum, so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I am thinking of putting an induction kit into my GTi-6 and wonder if anyone had any advice on good induction kits or whether the Green air filters are worth buying.
Thanks

Sorry to jack your thread but i would be asking something similar soon too anyway! :thumbs

What sort of air filter is recommended on a gti-6?

Preferably one that helps the engine sound amazing and produce a little more horse-play so to speak is what im intereted in. Smile

The general consensus is that the cone type (non encloseD) induction kits produce more noise than power because of where the cone goes.

Green filters on the whole are good quality though IHMO.

You can't go far wrong with a green/K&N panel filter although you won't get the noise.
