Thinking about changing my rear arb at the wkend but not sure if its as straight forward as it looks. Got the 1 out of my old beam without any probs but is there a certain way of fitting it like leaving a gap between end plate and radious arm or do he plates push right up? |

0.5mm gap each side.fit an M8 bolt in the nearside that tightens all the way up onto the plate, then when you fit the bar and pull the r/h end plate on, stick a 1mm feeler gauge between the end plate and the arm and wind it right on with a long bolt and a few washers and a nut. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

thanks, do i need any new parts for the job? so the bar should be fitted with 1 plate already fitted to it pushed right up then feed thru the beam and fit handbrake plate and bolt then just fit other plate. |

yup, the nearside end plate is the one you should leave fully drawn onto the splines.if you don't know the history of the beam you'd be best getting the 2 yellow seals and the 2 black rubber bushes for it, probably looking at about a fiver. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
