HiMy head gasket went a couple of years ago and since then it has made a tappety noise and i keep hearing that it could be a couple of different things. If i were to send someone a video of this do you think you would be able to tell me the cause? My 6 is mint but I am worried that eventually the engine will go........... |

a valve or a few and most likely a valve guide.tappets VERY rarely cause this noise. have you checked your spark plugs recently? ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

i havent but am getting it serviced next week so will check then. Are the valves and valve guides expensive? i can get the work done free of charge - its just the parts i need to buy..... |
