is it right that the fans don't kick in until 105c?Coz when i was checking if the fans were working after seeing the water boiling i switched the engine off!

The fans should kick in at low speed at approx 97*C and then high speed at approx 105*C!!If one of the fan motors/wiring/relays is faulty, you lose low-speed mode and therefore you just have the one fan running in high speed mode. But that should still be enough to keep it out of the red (Rallyes only have the 1 fan anyway) unless something else is wrong.. Try disconnecting the brown CTS on the thermostat housing, check to see both fans running at high speed..
