My MAP sensor has 3 pins, maybe this unconnected plug would work if i bought a MAP with 2 pins?

When cleaning my MAP sensor today, i noticed a unconnected plug which ran from the same part of the loomMy MAP sensor has 3 pins, maybe this unconnected plug would work if i bought a MAP with 2 pins? Pictures below ________________________________________ Audi S3 Black Edition |

Covered loads of times on here - it's not for a different MAP sensor. It's unused on the GTi-6.________________________________________ Rich |

There are two sensors; one used on the phase 1 and 2 and a later one used on the phase 3 but both are three pin sensors and only the connector changes.________________________________________ Rich |

The earlier one. Rallye's are phase 2.You do currently have the correct sensor for the vehicle age. (Sometimes you find the wrong one if the loom has been changed). ________________________________________ Rich |
