Got a 1998 306tdi which is not playing ball!!...Heater fan is not kicking in at all ...getting lights in the facia for aircon so on but nothing else , have checked relays (green ones!) all looking good , checked all the fuses and they seem fine, Checked the connection to the fan as I was told these can come loose over time but all good ..I suppose next thing will be see if the fam is goosed ?..if there any other thing I should be checking or missed

Cheers

pug never made the TDI, that was VW.

no need to remove the motor to test it, you can get at the wiring underneath it.

406 is a different motor.
