Hi,

I have just replaced my cambelt, tensioners, waterpump and harmonic balancer.
Everything is timed up and torqued down correctly but on the first start up, I am seeing a small amount of cambelt 'wobble' on the tensioners.

I am only talking about half a mm of wobble here but since it's my first cambelt change, I'm not sure if this will settle?

Is this something to expect from a new cambelt?

cheers

doesn't sound excessive at all, as long as the tension is correct and there's no discernible wobble on any of the pulleys it wont come off.

Thanks once again Welshpug.

Do you think there might be any chance the slight wobble could build heat up in the belt and cause premature failure??

Should a new cambelt track 100% from the get go, or do they usually take a little running before they find their line?

Just trying to cover all angles hereLOL More for peace of mind if anything.

cheers
