yep, on a 205 when it had a fooked afm, fuel in the oil can only be caused by overfuelling.(well and knackered piston rings, but overfuelling usually causes that not tother way round) ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

thanks guys, its in a peugeot specialists right now, hopefully find out if its the overfueling causing this, welshpug i take it afm means air fuel mixture? how would this be fixed? i so hope its this, 1st garage said head gasket?! but the peugeot people said straight away overfueling? and never go that garage agen.lol so would this also be the reason it starts tapping when warmed up, because the oil gets too thin? bcoz it is really thin because of petrol. thanks |

afm= air flow metermy bet it isnt the HG but somthing making if overfuel, a sensor of some kind. aslong as you havent washed the bores should get away with it. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

i noticed the map sensor wasnt plugged in propely so have now cleaned it and put it bk in, the oil seems to be smelling a lot less like petrol now, would the map sensor make it overfuel? |
