I pritty new to the forum but i thought this would be best place for some advice on my project.
I am hoping to transplant a gti-6 engine etc in to my mint 1.6 xs 306.
I have previously owned a gti-6 but due to a substantial commute it just wasnt practical so i bought back my XS. The xs was my 1st car and 4 years later we have been reunited lol.
In theory i should just buy a gti-6 but hey everyone loves a good project.
If anyone has any useful advice it would be very much appreciated.

I was unsure about the subframe. I had been told that they were all the same but found it abit hard to believe.
