I'm thinking this is drive shaft or maybe gearbox related, but I'm getting a weird grinding noise that rises in pitch with the revs and seems to happen when pulling away quickly in first or second

Doesnt happen all the time, sounds like its coming from the right hand side of the car under the pedals and I think I can occasionally hear it on hard cornering.

Thinking about it it may be the exhaust hitting the floor?
