Anyone tried or used them before?. Tried using the search but didnt bring much up.

To cut a long story straight, i purchased a G-max 60mm lowering kit, waitied 6 weeks for it to be delivered, recieved an email today to say its going to be another 2-3 weeks. Cars off the road at the minute and im getting rather annoyed

However, POTN offered me the V-maxx coilover kit for £240 instead of their RRP of £290 for my inconvenience.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with them?

Link below..

clicky

Cheers

cheap crap, stick to o.e dampers IMO Thumbs up

you need around £700+ for a decent set of ride height adjustable coilovers that wont rattle your teeth out and last more than 2 years.

I know mate, but the rear is lowered 60mm and i need a kit that goes 60mm on the front to match...

I have standard shocks and 60mm springs on at the moment and its just smashing the hell out of every other suspension componenent when going over pot holes.

I've just bought everything new you see and wanted to finish it off with a nice suspension upgrade.

Get them and see what they are like - you'll be able to sell them after 1k miles for the same amount you bought them for.

60mm drop isn't going to help you over potholes mate Wink

Yeah but i understood that with uprated springs and dampers that were designed to go as low as 60mm would be better than the standard shock rebound with 60mm lowering springs..

I might just give them a whirl...Just a little curious about the cheapness....Huh?

I want my car legal and back on zee road! Dry

cheers buddy!

I had v-maxx on my 306, worked out perfect!

But you cannot compare it to "real ones" but it does it job. Smile
