So whilst trying to bleed the system I came to tighten up the thermostat bleed screw and "snap"!

So today got a thin drill bit and tried to wind it out. Unfortunately the tip of the drill snapped and dropped through the tiny hole in the screw and into the thermostat! Roll eyes

I havent started the engine yet as I was worried this tiny little bit of metal might cause some internal damage Unsure

Is it worth getting out, and how would you go about doing that?

take the thermostat elbow off, the plastic bit with 3 nuts/bolts.

a normal M6 caphead screw will suffice till you can get a replacement bleed screw from Puegeot/citroen/scrapyard.

1306 29 DRAIN SCREW DIAM 6X100-18

1339 78 DRN SCR GASKET 10X6,2

princely sum of £1.03.

I did remove that part way, at least enough to swivel it around but it didnt look like you could actually get into the housing itself!?
