Right so when the Rallye was getting hot, it was starting to get hard to put in gear, i thought it was maybe the cable after a few disscusions, then wasnt sure as thought it was maybe worse as only does it when hot, so today thought f*ck it, fit new flywheel and my new diff, so stripped it down, to find that my valeo (poor spelling) Clutch had shatterd beside where the springs are on it, clutch must only of done about 4k and 5 track days, its about a year old id say, so now im not sure if i want to stick same kind of clutch in or not, anyone else had this? I've had Valeo Sachs and LUK bits come in each others boxes I'd just fit another, you're bound to get issues every now and then when you try and tun over the part's given limitation, slight manufacturing defects will be highlighted by trackday driving in these kind of vehicles ! ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

if you are driving the car hard on track i would get an unsprung centre plate. The std centre plates are weak and the springs and disks etc all flex and zap power as well as making the drivetrain more slack and less responsive. They are good for the road but for track driving where i would stick a helix solid plate in |

you mean what torque for crownwheel bolts?i am sure helix will do you a solid paddle plate. The std cover will be fine, for up to 200bhp a std cover will do, if you uprate that you will have a heavier clutch unnecasarily |

im going 400bhp. yeah those bolts also, when fitting a quiaffe diff do you use standard gear of old diff, just the gear doesnt seam to fit that good ________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

i had a helix in mine, i honestly cudnt tell the differnce between valeo and helix although mine wasnt charged, turbo'd or and other sort of erratic tuning. cost about £400 iirc (just had the money at the time and thought f*ck it!) try at valeo, have seen bad batches come off the line before so chances are your just unlucky. ________________________________________ There are currently 1 people onlineMost ever was 173 on Sunday 9th Nov 2008 at 8:04pm Registered Users: chris167 |
