Hi, have had my 205 with a gti 6 in it since november now. When we got the car, it was ticking/tapping loudly, and we cured it by tightening the spark plugs as they were lose. I have however noticed that the car intermittantly ticks/taps every now and again. It is intermittant, and only seems to be when the car has been warmed up on a long drive. When it's cold it doesn't sound like this, and also doesn't seem to if you drive it carefully. The noise hasn't got any worse since november and have done a good 5,000 miles since then, and those 5,000 miles were giving it some good stick!!! Can anyone shed any light on it ? Thanks
