Looking at "refreshing" my suspension as I don't think it has been done for ages (certainly not since I have owned it).

But being a total suspension noob I have no idea where to start. The car is lowered 40mm on koni springs, looking at the history it had a rear beam replacement in 2004.

I get a creaking noise sometimes when accelerating hard (engine mount?) and a knocking noise when turning tight bends at low speed (steering bushes)?

The words droplinks, driveshafts, mounts and bushes mean absolutely nothing to me I'm afraid LOL

Just need an idea of what I need to replace bearing in mind nothing has been done for a while.

Anyone give me a list of bits I might need to change? And approx cost is possible. (I won't be doing it myself).

As you've already mentioned

Droplinks, connect strut and ARB
Top mounts - on top of damper
Dampers
Wishbone bushes
Balljoints - attach wishbone to hub

Then see if the knocking noise is still present, could be CV joint on the driveshaft.

Labour will be a fair whack if done at a garage, which I assume it will be as you said you don't know what they are Smile

just check all the stuff, no point replacing parts if there are ok, its a total waste of time and money. Most likely is wishbone bushes and ball joints, but again if you get the car onto a ramp somewhere and get somebody to check it all out. A spanner check is worth doing while your there
