I know some on here sell solid rear mounts and I'm sorry for doing this but.. I want to make my own.

I'm going to start stripping out the rear axle this week and was wondering what ye actually do with the mounts? Do ye just replace the rubber with something more solid or weld them up or what would my best option be!

I work as a fitter so I hyave access to all the tools and welders I'll ever need. So help me please!

Beam mounts 101 for beginners LOL

How about I sell you a set, you can have a good look at them, take down all the measurements you need, then make your own Big grin

Before you do though, you need to read this book first.

Not if he copies my jig, but to be fair it's a lot of work to go to to make one set.

I made my own set years ago, and tbh i did mine without a jig etc. For the sake of the £100 it will cost you to get Daveyboys, Id just get his.

They are a much better finish and Ive only heard good things. Mine arent the prettiest but do the job, its just I did them before Daveyboy started to make them. If I was considering them now, Id take the easier route.
