What turbo and fuel pump has it got?
Its worth getting the fuelling setup correctly and be sensible with any boost increase. I'd personally be getting some GTi6 calipers with standard discs and pads on there as the current brakes are shite. Get the beam and its mounts overhauled too (with 6 ARB/TBs in it) and it should be a fun car.

Oh and lastly get some decent tyres on there too - those are all different makes and look shite. If nothing else make sure you can stop in a straight line in the wet as well as possible Wink

I'm planning on getting a Bosch fuel pump and a Garrett T2 trbo and will probably run around 18 PSi. The wheels are as i bought them and will be getting some proxes's or just some P6000's. I have rear discs and callipers and will be getting some front ones soon. Smile

Well the windows in the doors that came with the car are not on the runners (they go down but not up as they lean forward) but are badly dented and have badly faded lacquer and paint. The ones I have spare are dented but I havent tried the windows yet. I will check them when im not busy and I'll let you know if you'd like?

that'd be good of you, not particularly worried about minor dents, as long as the structure of the door is good!

Ok I'll check them later and let you know. I don't know wether to fill all the dents on the ones on the car and get someone to spray them as I can't really justify taking very dented doors off and putting slightly dented doors back on.

It's facing down a driveway hence the chock and the handbrake is on. And there are no rear carpet or seats. I'm getting -60mm springs soon and lowering the beam anyway so all is good, but the wheels sit about 10-20mm further out now Smile

What height do you think is best mate? I hate "slammed" cars but I didn't think 60mm would be that low?

Remember you've got a much lighter engine and box there so GTi6 -60mm won't lower it any where near that much. Surprised the GTi6 springs haven't made it sit higher actually.

I don't know TBH but 60mm is nearly 2½ inches in old money. That is a lot I think.
I would think 40 is as low as I would go but WTF do I know?
My car is in bits on the driveWhistle

This is mine lowered 60mm front and about 50mm rear

Bear in mind it's got a heavier engine up front though, as said 60mm springs on yours will probably only lower by about 45/50mm
