I was changing the CAT over on my car and while I was there I noticed that the hydraulic part of the back of the steering rack that looks to be for the power steering was all exposed. It looked like it was supposed to be covered in a black plastic, but that was torn and exposed a fair bit of it.Is this ok? It still looked very clean in there despite been exposed. |

Yes, it should be a black bag as you say....Peugeot do sell this bag as a part, it protects the steering hydraulic ram from getting debris into it... Stan. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Cheers for the info I imagine that this might be a bugger to replace? Will the whole ram have to come off to slide a new cover on? Sorry if that might sound like and obvious question, but I didn't really take note of the setup of it while I was under the car . |
