Anybody knows whats the compression between cylinders for xu7jp engine? My numbers were between 85-90 psi in all cylinders. Is that too low? or its ok. Thanks. |

yes, very low.the CR of this engine is 9.3 and the numbers should be in the rang 150-200 PSI . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compression_ratio ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |

hmmm ok... that might be then, the reason why the car wont start. I did a the comp test followed by dropping some oil into the cylinders, and the comp didnt raise up. What could it be? valve adjustment? timing? The head has been renewed. |
