Just want something newer Mike, love the car to bits and has been huge fun to own, but i'd rather have a phase 2 or 3 cos my car's looking a bit dated.

I do quite enjoy the looks you get when people think it's a DTurbo though, gave a CTR and a VXR a run for their money on a private runway last week and got the surprised thumbs up Smile

As far as costs are concerned though 99% of the fixes/changes have been done by me, I haven't paid for any labour apart from getting the beam lowered tomorrow and parts i've managed to get either cheap or at trade price. Not been that expensive tbh

surely ph2/3 exterior parts such as lights and trim are interchangeable Dunno so you could easily update it yourself?

wouldnt that be better than starting from scratch. especially with a car you know so well and have worked on yourself. would be nice to keep hold of it as its served you so well.

p.s that engine bay looks mint. Clapping

Too much hassle mate, means changing lights, bumper, slam panel and bonnet and spraying them in Sigma which iirc was only available on phase 1's. Interior stuff like doorcards and dash are different too.

I have visions of a black/astor with black masks, rallye blanks and graphite wheels, no matter how hard i try the Sigma won't be that LOL

saw Mobil Super 2000 10w40 online for 9.99. Went to Reserve and Collect in store but thought this is long ill just go in store and buy it. got there and it was selling for 15.99. mentioned to sales clerk, no budge, saying they dont reserve in store anymore...so i said i can go on my phone, reserve it then walk over to that counter there and pay 9.99 for it. he said go for it...my internet on my phone was being s**t (t-mobile i hate you), so i was standing there for 25 mins trying to reserve the oil on my phone with no signal keep pressing refresh. FINALLY got to the confirmation page, gave him a number and he gave me the oil for 9.99. by then it was too dark to put the oil in.

s**t story but the moral...halfords, ur crap

Read it three times, still not sure it warranted reading once, let alone resurrecting a thread for.

Damn IT is a long book to read man. I honest gave up with about 20 pages left, and that included me skipping bits where Stephen King rambled on about nothing relevant to the story. Some of the book was pretty sick though. Cant believe you read it three times! The film is hillarious.

I found it quite amusing, mainly cus I had picture of Billyboy standing by his car with a really sad face holding oil. But seeing as I dont know what Billyboy looks like its a made up verison of him that I have in my head, which is basically a Chinese guy with a really high turban and from the waist down he is a fighter jet.
