found out this week my cradle is fubarred!!!

gonna weld a plate in tomorrow so not to worry,

i was wondering what thickness would be best for the plate, if anoyone who has done it can help!

I'm a metal worker by trade, i've never done a mount before, but i would recomend using the same thikness.

Thumbs up gonna go for some 2-3mm stuff then as thats about as thick im guessing

3mm mate, done loads of these now and never had a failure yet Cool

sounds good! you done them the same as jimmy_boy's pic?? or just a plate welded into the bottom?

Mine is a flat plate with curved up edges to match the profile of the bottom of the cup for added strength. I then weld in two rectangular packers where the cone shaped buffers touch the sides of the bracket removing all the slop that causes the crack in the first place.
