gonna weld a plate in tomorrow so not to worry,
i was wondering what thickness would be best for the plate, if anoyone who has done it can help!

3mm mate, done loads of these now and never had a failure yet ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. I take on welding jobs in the evenings, ally casting repairs are one of my specialities but I can weld pretty much anything. I then weld in two rectangular packers where the cone shaped buffers touch the sides of the bracket removing all the slop that causes the crack in the first place.
