Hi there...I am interested to know if i can fit a GTI6 engine onto the gearbox from a 1.8 16v Xs ??? Sorry if this sounds stupid but i have no idea. I am keen for uprated performance without the hassles associated with fitment of the six speed gearbox (at least thats what i have been told). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

I will fit, But it wont have the same performance figures althought i cant say if they will be better or worse |

It will, and performance will be up as it's a significantly more powerful unit, it might just be easier to go out and buy a 6 though?________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
