on doing so the little gits broke the 90 degree plastic elbow, got a new one today... would i need to put a sealant/gasket on there?

my dad and uncle thought they'd do me a favour by replacing my thermostat as i was away and it needed doing...on doing so the little gits broke the 90 degree plastic elbow, got a new one today... would i need to put a sealant/gasket on there? ________________________________________ |

No there is no gasket for the elbow ________________________________________ Although it's no longer available new, it's worth trying to get hold of a good example second-hand. As GTi's get tubbier and cooler, it's nice to remind yourself of why insurance companies hate hot-hatches so much.-Top Gear on the 6 Apr '01. Black 6 |
