I've bought and tried two unlocked ECU units for my 6 and the engine turns over but won't fire up? I have a Clifford Alarm fitted from previous owner would that be a problem or am i just been stupid and missing something? Help |

Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition to the second click? Is there a spark? A bit more info would help people to help you ;-)________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Have you verified the ECU's you've bought are actually unlocked? Testing them on another car would be a good way to make sure. They also need to be de-immobilised, otherwise the ECU will lock itself as soon as it receives a foreign transponder signal from your car. So may sure the ECU's your buying are unlocked AND de-immobilised. ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

Yes the fuel pump primes. How do you de-immobilise ECU's? I can't verify that it's unlocked just his word that it is. |

You need to ditch the transducer ring tat goes dound the ignition swich, otherwise it reads the key, sees it does'nt match the ECU and locks it.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
