Basically i'm putting the car back together and dont remember removing the engine from chris's old 6 mainly cos of all the pain killers i was taking at the time, below is a pic of my engine sat in my bay, today i set about fitting the pas resivour and pipe work and have discovered in the switch over i've only got a small bit of pipe from the pas pump this should go under the engine to the rack i noticed that on a standard 6/rallye pas setup the pressure switch is right by where the end of my pipe is, so does the end of my pipe connect to the original switch housing or am i missing part of the re location kit?________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

Is all the standard pipework still in place that takes the PAS fluid from the pump to the rack? It goes across the front and then around the back, it will be snipped on the front and thats where you new piece of high pressure hose connects just before the sensor.________________________________________ Just Drive It |

You see that fresh bit of pipe you have coming off your power steering pump going across the front of the engine in the pic above, that has compression fittings on both ends that clamp to the piece of pipe where you cut it as required and seal as needed. However if the fitting has already been fitted i think you will need a new olive for the inside otherwise it wont seal properly. Rich should be able to tell you what bit is required. ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

Just make sure when you cut the pipe before the PAS switch you leave about 1" of solid pipe for the compression fitting to sit on.I have the entire original s/c fitment guide somewhere in .pdf if you want me to e-mail that to you? If you do, drop me a PM with your e-mail address. ________________________________________ Long live the Sigma 6Team Phase 1 supercharged XBL ID: farmer uk1 |

Is that boost pipe from the charger a good silicone one ? it will collapse when on idle, if it was me, i'd get it hard piped whilst you have the front end off.________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |

its hard pipe most of the way inside the silicone, im going to see what is like but i may end up doing it all in hard with just the straights under the slam panel to take the engine flex ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |
