Hi newbie here,

I am having trouble with my 306 1.6L (2000) LX. The locking mechanism of the passenger side door doesnt work when i press the key fob, all the other doors will lock and the passenger door will not respond and make the other doors unlock. the only way i can get round this problem is by entering the car and manually pushing down the button on the passenger side. this locks the passenger door, but not the rest of the car as other doors are open. i can then exit the car shut all the doors and lock it using the key fob.

i have also had trouble with the door lock sticking and result in the door not being able to open at all. this problem of the door not opening at all is completely random and can fix itself of its own accord, but the original problem still exists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
