I'm doing a project on turbocharging one of our engines.

I have done the calcs for MFR at 7.3psi (what I calculated that I need to make 250bhp)

I have matched teh calculated MFR values to this turbo. Is it possible to keep the boost at a constant 7.3psi (for engine longevity) using the waste gate?

Is it acceptable to work on getting a constant boost level?

GT22 would be a tad small running that little boost I'd of thought, but I'm no expert on them!

This is why I chose it, because it seems to satisfy the graph. I don't know if I am right though?

You may well be right, I never bothered trying to work it out for myself to be honest, always got the manufacture to supply me with what they recommended. Be very interested to see what you achieve with it though. Are you making the manifold yourself?

I'm bodging designing it in solidworks. It is only theoretical. It will literally be a justified shopping lost.

How do we plumb the oil in on our engines?

Thanks.

As I'm showing here I don't actually know anything about turbochargers, I'm making it up as I go along.
