hi folks. ive done a bit of searching but cant find alot on this but basically my clutch peadle has about 2-3 inches of free play at the top before it starts to work the clutch. It seems to be pulling the cable through the bulk head ok but its not moving the lever at the gearbox. Could it be that the auto adjuster is worn or the do i need to replace the whole cable Any help or advice would be great, thanks ________________________________________ PH2 NILE BLUE GTI 6 |

Some people insist on searching for peddle, but I would advise against this A new cable would be a good place to start, but it could be the clutch. How many miles has it done? ________________________________________ Make tea, not war.If it ain't broke......fix it until it is. |

mine does this. i rest my foot 2 inches down on the pedal due to extreme laziness whilst driving. think of it as a footstool rather than a problem________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

spelling. I've had another look at it and the free play is coming through the adjuster. Is the adjuster a seperate part or does it come with the cable?________________________________________ PH2 NILE BLUE GTI 6 |
