read a guide on hear about changing cambelt, well i have done mine and whilst removing the auxillary belt i noticed the crank pully timing holes did not line up, so this has slipped. any way locked the cam and done that,- all is fine.

However I will be replacing aux belt and tensioner soon.

How important is it to replace crank pulley? what is being risked ??????

nothing really, it just means you cant time the car up with it.

It could break up but if your on a budget you could reuse it until you have a chance to change it. not a huge job.
