Shorter gear lever won't do anything apart from be annoying. You need to PM Miles and get a set of his gear rods, these will tighten up the gearchange considerably. Alternatively your originals are probably shagged so replacing them for standard ones would see an improvement. ________________________________________ Steve |

I can say that i took a saw to my gear stick a year or so ago, and can say that i think it was the worst thing i ever did. Since then i have spent a few quid down at pug in replacing it and boy can i tell you it felt good to have the gear stick back to it's proper height. I'd say leave the gear lever well alone and looking into getting a quick shift from skip browns or something. ________________________________________ Proud member of the Astor owners clubTeam Charged Swirl pot and silly boost kit for sale |
