Are these avalible i know they are for say 106s 206s but can you get them for gti-6?
The gears are just how can i put this floppy and dont feel proper.
Links would help greatly

Shorter gear lever won't do anything apart from be annoying. You need to PM Miles and get a set of his gear rods, these will tighten up the gearchange considerably. Alternatively your originals are probably shagged so replacing them for standard ones would see an improvement. Wink

i have a skip brown quickshift and miles' gear rods, the shift is so short and it's brilliant. very precise

I can say that i took a saw to my gear stick a year or so ago, and can say that i think it was the worst thing i ever did. Since then i have spent a few quid down at pug in replacing it and boy can i tell you it felt good to have the gear stick back to it's proper height.

I'd say leave the gear lever well alone and looking into getting a quick shift from skip browns or something.
