If I fit a second hand head with uprated cams to my engine - will it need the cambel replacing? Will all the pulleys be the same size etc?

Would you need to get the timing checked after say 1000 miles or is this only when you use a new belt as it stretches?

yes new belt, no to re-tensioning, same pulleys etc etc.

dont bother with a "ported" head till youre well into the 200's N/A, or go S/c snd 400 bhp+ can be attained on the stock head
